Summer Time in Rosedale

Dear Rosedale Community,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer full of swimming at the Rosedale Pool! It is hot out, please check in on your neighbors and remember that if you need to cool off, the Rosedale Library is a great option.

I wanted to share good news. Thanks to the advocacy of the community and despite a tight budget season, we have secured funding in the DC budget for the new Rosedale Library and to redo the Rosedale pool. We will continue to fight for funding to fix and rebuild the Recreation Center, football field, and playground.

Finally, I wanted to share that I plan to run again for ANC Committee in November. It is an honor to represent the Rosedale community and I believe much more work is to be. If you are interested in learning more about the upcoming election, check out DC Board of Elections at https://dcboe.org/.

Kramer Street Lot

In a step forward, thanks to the advocacy of many in the community, I attended a meeting between Apogee Farms and all the relevant DC agencies involved in the permitting process (there are a lot!). The meeting was very productive and I believe a path forward has been found to unstick this project. An exact timeline is unclear, but we are moving forward.
